More Opportunities

Stay tuned for more opportunities to work
with us throughout 2018-19!

The northernmost landing was retrofitted to meet new State of Maine stormwater outflow standards in the fall of 2017. This work created an easy flat surface for a park, but there is a bit of work to do to make the land stable and park-like.

This summer, we'll fell trees, amend soil, pull invasives, pick up trash, and plant perennials.

Check back on this page for event dates and leave us your email for event notifications!

How can I donate materials or become a sponsor of the project?

Thanks for thinking of us! Berwick has a tradition of DIY community projects: from fundraisers, to murals and boat launches, we're proud of our community's ability to rally for things we believe in. Check out the donation page for more info on how you can help.

In July of 2017, close to 50 volunteers from Berwick, Somersworth, and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard pitched in to pull invasive species, clean up trash, and share ideas for the park. Read the story here.
